Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

This policy covers all iOS games published by Chris Shain, including Ricochet Run: Brick Bounce, Bloom: Steer the Garden, Bumper Crop Farm Stand, and Capsule Corner.

Summary

None of these games collect anything about you themselves. Your scores, settings and saved games stay on your device.

Ricochet Run shows ads, which are served by Google AdMob, and Google collects data through those ads. That is the only data collection in any of these games, and it is described in full below. Bloom, Bumper Crop and Capsule Corner show no ads and collect nothing at all.

What the games themselves collect

Nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-in and no analytics of our own. Scores, run history, settings, pets, gardens and any palettes you make are written to the app’s own storage on your device and are never sent anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them.

Advertising, in Ricochet Run only

Ricochet Run shows two kinds of ad: an optional one you can choose to watch to carry on after a run ends, up to three times in a single run, and an occasional ad between runs. The first run after you install the game never shows one.

The ads come from Google AdMob. Through them, Google collects:

Google uses this for its own advertising, for advertising on our behalf, and for analytics. Google’s own privacy policy governs what it does with it, at policies.google.com/privacy. The first three items are tied to your identity in Google’s systems; the diagnostics are not.

The consent form you may see before ads start is also Google’s. It uses coarse location, performance data and product interaction to work out whether a form is required where you are and to remember your answer.

The tracking prompt

Because the advertising identifier is used for tracking, iOS asks your permission before any personalised ad is shown. If you decline, you still get the game and you still get ads; they simply are not targeted at you. Nothing about how the game plays changes either way.

You can change your mind at any time, and reset or limit the identifier, in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising.

Game Center

Ricochet Run uses Apple’s Game Center for its leaderboards and achievements. When you are signed in to Game Center, your scores and the badges you earn are sent to Apple so they can appear on the leaderboards. Your Game Center identity belongs to Apple; the game never reads it and stores nothing about you. Apple’s privacy policy covers that data. If you are not signed in to Game Center, nothing is sent.

Purchases

None of the games contain in-app purchases.

Sharing

If you tap Share, the game makes a screenshot and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Nothing leaves your device unless you pick an app to send it to. A screenshot is saved to your photo library only if you choose that, which is why the game asks permission to add to your photos.

TestFlight

If you install a beta build through Apple’s TestFlight, Apple may collect crash logs and usage data under Apple’s own terms. Beta builds of Ricochet Run show Google’s sample ads rather than real ones, so no real ad data is collected from them.

Children

These games are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, at any age. Ricochet Run does show ads, and the data Google collects through them is described above; if you are setting up a device for a child and would rather avoid that, decline the tracking prompt, or play Bloom or Bumper Crop, which show no ads at all.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
